Course overview
Children build strength, coordination, confidence, regulation, and social participation through movement. This two-hour self-paced course helps early childhood and school-age professionals recognize large-motor development, adapt active play across ages and abilities, and add meaningful movement to routines, transitions, indoor spaces, and outdoor play. The course emphasizes observation, inclusion, appropriate challenge, and practical planning.
Certificate Included for STARS Annual Training
Upon successful completion of the course, including the required instructor feedback component, learners will receive a certificate to upload to MERIT. Course rosters are submitted to MERIT by the instructor at the end of each month. Please allow 2–3 business days for certificate processing. Need your certificate sooner?
